Good day. I just joined this site today because I have a set of Paulson casino chips that I put together back in 2007. I spent an arm and a leg to get the set just right and to have actual denominations for $50-$60 buy in games with my buddies. Well, those buddies have come and gone and the chips have been sitting in their case for the last couple of years under my bed. Turns out that it looks like I may have been made a nice investment considering the availability of chips like these today. Can someone help me out with the value of these chips? Also, if anyone is seriously interested I would be willing to part ways with the set for the right price.

$.25 Paulson Main Street Station, Las Vegas (Gold Foil)
$.25 Paulson Fan of Cards (not casino, but needed the .25 for ante's)
$.50 Paulson Good Luck Casino (not actual casino but again needed the .50's ante's)
$1.00 Paulson Bellagio, blue and white
$2.00 Paulson Crystal Park Casino, Crystal City, CA, green and black
$3.00 Paulson Vineyard Casino "central valley's place to play" teal with pink and red edges
$5.00 Paulson Crystal Park Casino, Crystal City, CA, yellow and black

Thank you for your time..

Welcome :) Some nice chips in that pic!

How many of each do you have? I think you'll be able to most most of them fairly easily depending on quantities and asking price :)

There are some nice chips in this set, but selling them seperate will bring you more cash.

CP & Vineyard will have a lot of interest, same for bellagio & the vegas quarters but from different buyers.
Play this well and you will earn a nice payday.

How many chips do you have ?

Ps. Fan of cards & GLC are not in the same league

20x 25¢ might not get as much per chip as a rack as it'll be harder to find the rest.

Thank you for the prompt response sir. I sincerely appreciate it. I will count them up. Its just a personal collection for 5-6 players so it not like I have 1000 of them. Probably more like 500 in total, but I will count them up and get the numbers up here shortly. Again, thanks for the knowledge sir.

Thanks for your prompt response sir. I will get them counted up and post back here shortly. I also attach a pic of them in the carrying case along with some Kem cards and Palms dice had in there.

Thanks again!

Interested in the bellagio ones if you sell them.

Might be willing to do that sir. Let me count them up and gather a little more info and I will get back with you. Thanks again for your interest and prompt response.

Forgive my ignorance sir but could you explain that a little more to me..? I sincerely appreciate the response and look forward to learning more.

100 quarters will likely be more desirable (and therefore command a higher price tag) to many folks as opposed to just a barrel (20). Then again, someone may need to fill out an existing rack and may end up paying a premium to do so :) you'll find out soon :)

Understood... Any idea of what I should ask for some of these if I break them up? Or if I sell the whole set of them which is probably closer to 400+chips? I just don't know where to start and definitely want to get the most I can with the Holidays around the corner. I wish I did not have to sell them in the first place but it is what it is at this point. : )

Just saying you MAY get a higher price per chip if you have 100 of one chip compared to 40-50 as most people are after complete racks.

For example if you only had 20 of the 25¢ chips you may find it hard to get a buyer at $1/chip unless you can find someone who needs that amount. But if you had 100 you could possibly sell them a lot quicker and at a higher price. (Price used was just an example also, not an indication of market value)

By the way. Welcome to the site.
Thank you!! Very kind of you. I am sure that I will be jonesing for new set once I get rid of these. I'll probably be kicking myself but need the cash at this point... : )

Well you are at the correct site. Sit back and listen, ask questions and get involved. You will find many knowledgable people on this site. Hold on to your wallet though because you will always come across some great sites.

This is an rough estimate and depends on condition also.

$.25 Paulson Main Street Station, Las Vegas (Gold Foil) $1.50/chip
$.25 Paulson Fan of Cards (not casino, but needed the .25 for ante's) not sure maybe $1/chip but could be less
$.50 Paulson Good Luck Casino (not actual casino but again needed the .50's ante's) $1-$1.50
$1.00 Paulson Bellagio, blue and white not sure on current market
$2.00 Paulson Crystal Park Casino, Crystal City, CA, green and black
$3.00 Paulson Vineyard Casino "central valley's place to play" teal with pink and red edges
$5.00 Paulson Crystal Park Casino, Crystal City, CA, yellow and black $1.25ish these seem to jump up and down in price iirc

Thank you for explaining sir. Where would I be able to find the market value of these guys..? I have looked and just find pictures of them from people's collections. I did find one site forum that said the Crystal Park chips are worth up to $20 a chip because of the color and images but I find that a little hard to believe...?

Some crystal park denominations are that much and more. The 2s and 5s are far more common and won't get anywhere near that.

Thanks again sir.. They are in great shape but this definitely helps me out. I will get them counted up here after I get the family attended to. You guys are so nice... Thanks again!!

Yeah. I may have been generous with my estimate also. Sometimes you can see the $5s go for under $1 a chip. But I haven't seen a lot for sale for a bit.

So... from what I have gained so far, I am looking at like $400-500 for this whole set? I was thinking I hit the jackpot since I cant seem to find these chips online anywhere these days. Again. I will count them up and get totals out there but I think I paid around $800 to put this together and was hoping to double that. Appreciate the knowledge from everyone so far. Thanks again. I'm guessing eBay is the way to go to try to unload these but if I can't make what I paid for them I may as well keep em...: )

You may get more here by splitting but more work. It is your choice. Also if you sell here there is no 10% eBay fee nor PayPal fee if we send via friends and family. The fees really add up. Might be good to put a list together of those who have already shown an interest. I know a few of us have. I think I had first dibs on the bellagio chips if you are willing to split.

Also you will do pretty good but could be more than what you are thinking. Get the counts together and you will get a better understanding of what you can get for them. I am also interested in the Main Street .25 chips

I gottca... your a fellow Texan as well.. : ) Let me count them up and put some more thought into this whole thing. I do agree, the eBay and paypal fee's are pretty annoying. Have a good evening sir. I got to feed the crew and what not. I will pop back on later though.

Where you from? We are looking at doing a get together next month in Georgetown. Tournament and cash games if you are interested.

I am up in Frisco, TX just north of Dallas. Sounds fun but most likely out of my league sir. Again, your too kind. I will get back with you a bit later this evening though.

Welcome to the site! Can i get a count and condition on the Vineyard $3s? Looks like you have nearly 100 of those. I have a partial rack of $3s that I may be interested in filling, OR I may have the extras you need to fill your rack.

You'll likely get more if you split them up. I only collect Vineyards and would have no use for any of the others, and I'm sure others will also want to add to existing sets.

I think $1600 for the set is unrealistically high. Best bet to maximize value is to auction off individual denominations (since it's unlikely that all will appeal to the same buyer markets) on either eBay or here in the PCF classified ad section.

Appreciate the interest sir. I have 91 of the Vineyard $3's. Used to be 100 but I think my kidos might have something to do with that.. : ) What is the going rate for these guys..?

So what is the going rate on the Bellagio chips sir..? I bought them at face value back in 07 but surely they are worth more than that these days..? I would be willing to sale and ship them to you for the right price. Unfortunately, I am not working right now and with two little boys and holidays around the corner I could use as much as I can get... : )

I have 86 of them. Used to be 100 but I would assume the afore mentioned little boys have something to do with that....
