I am helping my friend sell his Paulson Classics set. Before PCF and before Chiptalk, I handled these chips and realized I love poker chips. This set is the actual set that made me become fascinated with poker chips. I played my first Texas Hold 'Em game with these very chips (and won!). I am only helping him with the pictures, the ad, and the shipping. I will be collecting the money for him if they sell and I will be the one packaging and shipping them. Pricing is based on current eBay sales ($2.50-$3.00/chip). Since these are no longer made, he will be content keeping them if they do not sell.

Buyer pays all shipping fees and payment will be via PayPal friends and family (or you pay the fees). Shipping will be via USPS in an insured MFRB with signature confirmation, no exceptions. He will split the set if all chips are spoken for. In case of a split, SFRB will be used for shipping. Racks are NOT included.

  • All 300 Paulson Classics - $750

  • If set splits and all chips are spoken for:
    • #100 $10 - $270
    • #100 $25 - $270
    • #70 $100 - $190 - Mathieu interested if split
    • #30 $500 - $80

I would call them NrMt. Been played a few times but sharp edges, great shape. No color transfer.

edit - maybe a little color transfer on a few of the white edge spots of the $10's, but nowhere near bad. Easily cleaned with a simple wipe down to make them look perfect. -- being uber snobby here --

Love the Classics. Have a cash set myself ($5s, $10s, $25s and $500s (for buy-in markers) for a medium stakes limit game. Great chips. Not a bad price. I was very lucky when I got these. Aboout 2 years ago I jumped on a local Craigslist ad here in the Boston area. Made a 30 minute trip to Southy and got 1150 Classics, racks and a 1000 chip carrier for $400. Quite a deal even back then. Sold some of the denominations I didn't need ($1s, $100s, $1000s) off for a nice premium (but cheap by today's standards -- about $0.70/chip), bought more of the ones I need (at significantly higher prices) and ended up with a 1030 chip set (300 $5s, 600 $10s. 100 $25s and 30 $500s) essentially for free. You don't get deals like that any more unfortunately.

Think about that. 2 and a half years ago, the going price for these was 70 cents/chip. Now it is $2.50. That's about a 250% gain in 2.5 years. What other investments yield 100% annually? Crazy market.
