@Bobb59 , after we sell here, we leave the information and price so next time someone wants to buy or sell the same kind of chips everyone will know what they sold for in the past. Thanks. ;)

*Après une vente nous laissons l'information ainsi que le prix. Ceci aide les prochains membres qui veulent vendre ou acheter le même genre de jetons, a savoir a quel montant ils se sont vendu dans le passé. Merci. ;)

I would estimate that about 25% of classifieds DON'T leave up the information. The sellers go back, delete the price, and write SOLD. It is quite useless for checking historical prices when they do. We need a sticky or something. AND A BAN HAMMER FOR THE VIOLATORS! :ROFLMAO:

I deleted a price once because the buyer asked me to. Which is just fishy, but I agreed for a sale. I was approached by a top member to say I should put it back. Put me in a weird position (my fault). Without my knowledge, someone else posted it for me. In my thread. So I didn't break my word, and historical information restored. Lol.

This thread has potential. <popcorn gif goes here>. I’ll be back later tonight for the rest of the entertainment :p

I would agree that most of the ads remain but I'll bet it's closer to a third to half of the ads delete the price which is annoying as F@#k. Especially when you are going to sell some chips and try to search what they have been selling for. And all you find are ads that ran 2 months, see 21 'bump' posts, only to see that the price had been deleted and marked sold. I understand the seller may have taken an offer but you can at least see the last price if it's there.

As far as the buyer asking the price to be delayed that seems effing shady for sure

But.. its your sale and its between the seller and the buyer. Sure its nice to have price info when researching chips but, is what it is *shrug*

Flame on !!

LOL.. Classified sales are fluid, we are not talking about retail prices, or "what X sold for in 2017", these classified sales are momentary glimpses into seeing what someone was willing to pay for a particular chip or set at that particular time.

I dont mind leaving info up. Some people might be embarrassed to show they paid 3x the going rate. for a barrel of something they needed to finish their set.

Since we’re complaining about bad classified practices...
Please mark an ad sold when it sells. If you don’t then don’t be upset when I PM you asking if it is still for sale :)

And likewise for wanted items that are filled. Nothing like PMing a guy who was looking for something a month ago with his thread still open, no obvious offers and getting no response or a simple “don’t need.” Well blow me for trying to help a fella out. Sorry to disturb your nap.
