Not Mine Paulson Hot Stamp Poker Chips Airport Plaza Hote (1 Viewer)

Yup, seems to be the same one on CT. Weird that he didnt try to sell on the forum, rather than sell on eBay.
I think i remembered seeing some interest in the set.

Hmmm buyer beware. Seller probably has no experience shipping chips.

Thats what I say. He was on CT fishing for prices. I believe he received several requests. I let him know I had interest and he never replied. I figured he wasn't part of the chip community and everyone tried to help him.

Nothing really special about the chips other than they are Paulsons.

Seems like a pretty niche target audience. I would be in that audience, but don't have near enough in chip funds available and don't think I'd spend much more than $1 a chip for 1/3 of that set. While they appear to be in good condition, the stamp on those bad boys... yikes.

I'd offer $500 and see. These are either going to sell hot and fast or linger for a long time. It has been a couple of days, no offers. So I think the "linger" option is the most likely now.

The OP on CT posted today and said his sister put them on eBay. Sounds like she may be the owner of them.

I'll add that the coolest part of this community and it's dynamic with outsiders is that it's always an honest approach. There's no schemers trying to downplay the value of chips to an outsider, there's no insider hoodwinking.

I used to be on a forum called niketalk that was similar to PCF in the sneaker collector market and they were a bunch of sheisters. Love this group. Great guys.

I also love knowing that somewhere out there in America and abroad there's more chips like these waiting to be enjoyed...

I agree wholeheartedly. I think by human nature people are intrigued by buying and selling something for a profit. We will see folks come and go within our community but if we true chippers stick together the community will become stronger.

I for one collect because it is fun trying to find that next "gotta have" item. I do not necessarily need any of the items I collect but it does bring me joy to find, acquire and display them. I am always okay with trading or selling within the community as long as it is fair and equitable to both parties.

Once again I state, "this is a great forum", thank you @Tommy!

Chip on!

While I completely agree with you I think sometimes people are to quick to price items too high also. Then you get a seller who won't budge on price and they stay for sale for some time.

Personally I would've told the guy around $1/chip as a starting price. I think they'd be better off listing as an auction at >$1/chip and seeing how they go.
