Wanted Paulson THC Sample Set... Please (1 Viewer)

I was an underbidder on a set on eBay recently... Was the top bidder 28s before the end, someone (maybe someone here!) got in a higher bid in the last 2-3 seconds... Just putting this out there in case someone is contemplating selling their set.

I see individual sample chips on eBay from time to time. Currently someone has about 10-11 colors for sale individually, but they seem overpriced that way. Plus, assembling a set chip-by-chip would take forever and be a real PITA.

*OR* if someone with a set would colormatch their chips with a Pantone book or the like, then post the correct codes, that would be an incredible public service.

Sorry to hear you missed out. I had thought about bidding on it but did not. The two royal blue chips is what made this a wanted item. I realized maybe I should not bid since I have a full set. It went for about what it should have gone for

As I recall it went for about $130. It was at maybe $89 with one minute left; I bid $107 but got sniped at the last second, per above.

P.S. This guy has a Royal Blue for $19.99 plus shipping. Seems steep, but I guess if one were trying to complete a set it might make sense.

I actually paid $20 for one. These were very scarce for a long time. I found mine in an eBay sale of a group of misc. chips. The seller was over seas so I offered him $20 shipped and he took it.
