Time for my broken-record post when Pyramids come along...
I'm trying to complete a second rack of Pyramid $25s on the LCV mold. There are multiple $25 LCVs pictured in this auction, and I will trade 1-for-1 paying postage both ways (my SCV for your LCV) if some here wins this auction. I'll even throw in the 2 missing $5 chips (based on the auction description.)
LOL that has happened to me, many times. "Sorry, your bid was canceled because the item is no longer available." Hell, I've outright won auctions and then been fed a pack of lies by the seller because he's made a back-door deal but didn't have the guts to just tell me. (Not this seller in particular.)
Hmm...how did you know? I just bid several times up to 520, and I was outbid each time.
Although if someone here wins this set, let me know, IIRC, I have somewhere between 1 to 5 samples of each denom that I would trade. (I think all SCV, sorry gear)
It doesn't have the ideal breakdown, but you could run a single table T1k freeze out tourney with this set. Starting stacks of 20/12/6 (T5/T25/T100) with a few T100s for color-ups. Add another barrel of T100s or some T500s and you could easily expand to include rebuys. I ran a tourney with this structure for years, works fine as long as you have the right blind structure. The only issue you may run into is if your players are used to playing in "normal" tourneys that start with T5k or T10k, the first few tourneys may play a little tight because they "only" have 1k in chips in front of them.
