Not much question which three chips are advancing here (no spoilers please, voting results are hidden from people who have not voted yet), but there are still five days of voting remaining. Bump.

Here is a controversial opinion: the players hotel $25 is completely overrated… as is the rest of the line up. Maybe it’s the inlay…maybe it’s the uninspired choice of spot colors on that spot patterns. Meh.

Casa Royale $25 >>> Players Hotel $25 imo
Agreeeeeeee

Agreed, love the casa but I think the oversized / non-shaped inlay hurts it a lot. If the inlay was just a few mm smaller, the face of the chip would show a lot more purple which would help add more contrast to the brightness of the spots and white inlay.

I agree that Casa Royale gets dinged for the "little bit too large inlay". It joins a group that includes Golden Broken Arrow (OK), Turning Stone (NY), Winnebago Golden Nickel (WI). All THC chips.

I LOVE the Players $25, and the whole set! I completely agree with @Rieguy about the TRKs. Those are the ones that are overrated.

I don't appear to be able to vote, guessing that has to do with my just showing up, but I thought I'd at least try to keep the discussion going.

The Caesar's Palace has a great brightness that the edge spots enhance. It feels really vivacious. The King is bright too, but - the edge spots *detract* from it, IMO, instead of enhancing it. Green and purple is usually a great contrast but it's not working here for me.

The Great Wall I don't so much care for the edge spots -- I usually don't care for that pattern of edge spots, I don't know why -- but I'm really into the base tone.

The Players I totally understand people saying they're basic, but basic can be clean and classic too. It's not exactly a brave design, but it's gonna look good for a long time. You gotta give points for that.

The Casa Royale just pushes my love of neon and dayglo colors. Yeah, it's off-color, and honestly in a casino chip I do consider that a big minus, but boy oh boy that's a pretty chip.
