I swore I wouldn't collect them. Then I bought my first one, and my second, and my third. My 4th-10th are in the mail as I type (darn it, I SWORE I wouldn't!).

Now I need to display them, of course! Does anyone have any plaques on display? What do you use to display them? I have the Michael's display cases for chips, and I'd love to put some plaque display cases on the same wall. Anyone have any suggestions for how to show off these plaques?

I imagine it's tricky, since plaques come in a pretty wide variety of sizes. Suggestions appreciated!

I haven't checked mine, but wouldn't the cases from Michael's also display plaques as well? Three or four per row, depending on size?

Well, I only have 1 plaque in my possession at the moment (the floodgates open soon). And it is too tall to fit. I'm quite certain that a few of the smaller plaques that I've ordered, and the jetons, will fit. Maybe I just need to get my butt to Michael's once the plaques get here, and see if they have anything with shelves a little wider apart.

It is a problem I haven't found a good answer for. The worst are my old Asian gaming plaques, but each one presents its own problems. My wife suggests custom framing but that is not cheap. For the moment I am using individual chip stands but that doesn't come close to filling the need (and space on the fireplace mantle is in short supply.)

I will be curious what ideas pop up.

Jeff and I buy our casino chip display cases came from sfDisplay.com. I'm pleased with the quality, and they use 98% UV protection rated acrylic for the oors. They make a case to display collector coin slabs -- the space between shelves is 3.75", which should be enough for many of your plaques. I was thinking of buying a challenge coin display case for my collection of dealer buttons, but that case is only 2.25" between shelves and the collector coin slab display might be better. sfDisplay sells directly and on amazon.com.

Easy peasy.

I have a collection of about 10 different plaques which I display along with my collectible playing cards. The fastest solution is to get a baseball card display case that you can purchase from any collectible/trading card store (see link attached). I would highly recommend bringing your plaques with you as they can vary in size (both in terms of the frame as well as the display shelves), but that is a quick and easy solution for you.

Cheers.

This sweet thing is on the way to my house, thanks to @Whitewolf777!! I'm so excited.

I have to get one of these display options ordered, so it will have a nice home waiting for it when it arrives from France!
Thanks for the info everyone. I would have never found anything suitable on my own, and now I have several excellent choices. FWIW, I think I'll be getting cases from sfDisplay, one to display plaques, and another to display dealer buttons and $40 silver strikes.

Thanks for the info!

Wow, that is one striking plaque, Mel! You have good taste. :)

My wife was bored a few weeks ago. She saw my plaques just sitting there all lonely on the shelf. She threw this together. Not as fancy as the above methods. I appreciate a little home cooking every now and then.
