***** PRICE REDUCTION *****

For sale: 675 Paulson Point Defiance Chips

Breakdown (perfect for a solid $1/2 game with a bank of $4,075):

200 White $1
400 Red $5
75 Green $25

Pricing:

Total Set $850, FREE Priority Insured Shipping (continental U.S. only).

Payment via F&F, otherwise buyer to pay any applicable PP fees.

Pricing is around $1.25/chip. These have been meticulously cleaned and oiled. I will break up the set (if all chips are accounted for).

I did not purchase these with the intention to sell them (I am sad to let them go). However, these will not get used much in my home, and I am hoping to let them go to a home that appreciates them more than I can. I also hoping to partially fund my CPC endeavor.

Condition is very good. I intentionally grabbed a random chip to take pics of. I'd say the condition of most of the chips is better than the ones I selected for close ups. However, the pics speak for themselves.

Glws. I hesitantly sold mine. Loved the look of the hot stamps. Kind of wish I still had mine but do not feel as bad when I see my chips that replaced them.

If anybody wants to split I'd gladly over pay for 60 of the greens and a rack of fives. :)

I understand the greens are in demand, so if I were selling rack by rack, those would have priced somewhat higher. If all the chips are accounted for, I would consider a split, but preference is certainly given for someone who takes the entire set.

I saw that you said no splits, I was more talking to other members about splitting on our end. And yeah, the greens are probably worth at least 1.45/chip... ;);):p

Long shot anyway, but I thought I would throw it out there. I'm not entirely counting myself out on buying the whole set, but really only need a few things.

No worries. I had offers close to these prices a while back, but wasn't motivated in the least bit to sell. These are sweet chips. Now, with my upcoming CPC order, I am a bit more willing to let these go in order to free up some funds.

I should add these will be packaged insanely well, cushioned in a MFRB on the bottom, top, and sides with 65lb high density rail foam, and reinforced with cardboard. The barrels will be individually shrink wrapped (so they're completely immobile).

I put these into play just once and the group loved them.

Can confirm, military grade packing techniques!

Deciding to throw in shipping/insurance to the continental U.S. gratis (free). I believe this will be a $20 savings.

Price lowered to $1.25/chip for Christmas! :)

Total set $850. plus shipping (under $20).

Kinda doubtful there will be any further price reductions. :D

Merry Christmas everyone.

I didn't get involved when these were released by TheChipRoom. When were they first sold, and what were the original selling prices? Anybody know how many were made available? Any other denominations? Just curious; looking to round out my chip knowledge a bit.

Good luck with the sale, Eric. A bit surprised these haven't moved already, given the interest I've seen occasionally in the wtb classifieds. Might be the holiday season. Doesn't your buddy have some of these too?

There were a decent amount of $1s and $5s available. However, if you'll recall, half the chipment was destroyed in chipping. All the blues were broken, and most of the $25's and higher denoms. So supply was limited compared to what was initially going to be offered. If I recall, the pre-sale pricing was like $.69/chip avg, but quickly went up due to several factors. One, the condition of these chips was much better than expected (for a sight unseen chip), and two, half the supply suddenly evaporated. :)

That, and of course the Paulson market has skyrocketed since then.

I'm not hard pressed to sell, but it makes little sense to hold onto these when they could be better loved by someone else.

Thanks for the info. I remembered that a bunch of chips were lost in shipping, but couldn't recall the details. Any fracs or $100s made available? All I really know about are the dealer buttons. ;)

GLWS. And Merry Christmas to you, too. (y)

$1's and $5's were .49/chip, .50s and $25's were .59/chip, and the $hundos were .99/chip originally @BGinGA , and yeah, the chipocalypse with shipping sucked. I've put together about 40 of the fracs (give or take a few that have been glued back together) and they are damn near impossible to find now.

I would love these just for the greens and the pure gluttony of adding on to my set, but that would put me at about 2,500 and I don't need that big of a set at current market prices. Still thinking about it though, but my recent frac frenzy has taken most of my energy as of late. Double Downs, I'm coming for the rest of you... :sneaky::sneaky::sneaky: :D

It should be noted, that I picked up a sample set at these prices, but the majority of my chips were purchased at much higher amounts (after I realized how nice they were). I was able to snag some from Jim, I believe after he raised his pricing, and then a good chunk from flippers. Not going to claim I'm losing money on these, but the market has certainly changed (and these were not purchased by me at pre-sale prices).

i lost my phone on saturday, spend the rest of the week with my GFs family and this happens while im gone??!?

has the price been reduced from the original post.... the statement claims under 1.25 a chip, but if my math is correct....
