Description
This is the size of a standard casino poker chip. It would be perfect for a bassist or player with larger hands. Featured in the James Bond movie, License to Kill, Isthmus City Casino was a fictional casino owned by Franz Sanchez (Robert Davi). James Bond (Timothy Dalton) plays a high roller gambler in order to infiltrate the organization. Own a super cool piece of movie history today!

Super cool piece of movie history? Ya don't say....

Somebody should stone this fucker. With custom metal guitar picks.

I am confused... very confused... 1. Why do that to a chip? 2. From experience, this is not what a guitar pick should feel or play like 3. Why do that to a chip...?!@

My eyes are bleeding, something is just wrong. Jim Dunlop nylon picks are my favorite. Who, wha? How does stuff like this even happen?

Not like anyone here would ever throw a chip into a blender... :whistling:

These chip picks actually are very safe on strings as they don't break down like typical plastic picks (and create little saw blades). Part of the reason is the resin style plastic that is used in the chip making process-it is very resilient. I've made these for more than 2 dozen celebrities, and they sound particularly sweet on acoustic guitar. The metal coin picks have a clean, sparkly, tone without sounding harsh or metallic.

Yea, and you can cut some one's hair with pruning shears... that doesn't mean you should. I'll stick to my plastic guitar picks, thank you very much.

As for the Mapes chip destruction... I have no words.

I prefer a Fender medium like this one. Yeah, she gave it to me herself, but I wont go into any details, cuz she's hangin with that Trucks guy now.....

Used to go see her at the Littlest Bar in Boston. Without a doubt, the littlest bar anywhere.i
The pict must be because of that unique Paulson sound. Nothing sounds the same as a Paulson

I knew her when we were younger. Did a musical with her when we were in highschool; saw her around town for a while, local shows. She was always a sweetheart. And shit can she wail. And play.

Lame Sauce. Poker chips are poker chips, for playing poker. Guitar picks are meant for precision and designed in a fashion that demands precision in hitting notes on a musical instrument. I don't get it....

That said, if you can shred a guitar with a poker chip AND prefer it that way.......more power to ya!

I could understand butchering ceramics, but not irreplaceable Paulson chips.

I just hope he doesn't suffer a horrible industrial accident due to chip karma; that shit's real..... play with fire, be prepared to get burnt.
