Looking into ordering a custom tourney set. I've been a fan of Chipcos for a long time and they have this style chip. I ordered some samples and they arrived today. The color and feel are not bad.

Has anyone else dealt with this company before?

I have, had a good experience with them. Used them for my semi custom 8V China clay chips.

Used them a few times in the past and their customer service is really good. Bought some china clays and had a few of them that were crumbling and they immediately shipped out new ones to me when I noticed them about it

That is a very good endorsement.

I’m experiencing Paulson sticker shock and just want to know what other choices are out there in the world.

If you think Paulsons are expensive then you should definitely stay away from the price list at CPC. However, in my (and many other people's) opinion, the price for totally custom CPC chips are worth it. Premium product, premium price.

But @ABC Gifts and Awards aquired all the equipment and materials from PGI and can manufacture semi custom ceramics.

Yup. @RocAFella1 and I were there a few hours ago and picked up a few things. Saw the old Chipco press and got to see how the sausages were made so to speak

Still doesn’t change the fact that PGI as an entity no longer exists. However their website is still live from what I was told

I’m very new at this. I have a china clay set (Milano) for my home games. What is a “CPC” set and how does it differ? Are they expensive? I’m experiencing Paulson sticker shock and just want to know what other choices are out there in the world.
Yeah CPC’s can get rather expensive depending on the edge spot levels you choose but in my opinion (prob the minority here), I like them better than Paulsons. Biggest reason is Paulsons tend to accumulate dirt on the outer edge of their chips quickly but CPC’s don’t. Might be the brass flakes doing a good job hiding it

FWIW, ABC was already a major player and top-notch manufacturer in the ceramic chip market long before PGI closed up shop. Buying the PGI assets merelyy increased their capabilities.
