Portable 1000 chip storage (3 Viewers)

I purchased 2 1000 chip acrylic carrying cases and was only using one to start. I have the chips for our home game, but I’m not the host. After driving around with the chips sort of rocking back and forth in my truck the handle separated from the baseplate. This was only held together but some shitty screws. I have transitioned my main chips over to the other case and have been careful with it, but I’m terrified I won’t catch the faultiness in time and I’ll end up splattering 1000 chips all over the sidewalk.

The point- does anyone have any recommendations on sturdy carriers that can hold 1000 chips in racks? Most casino cases have metal handle/baseplate welded together, but I can’t seem to find that for sale

I have an Apache 3800 that fits 800, dealer button, blind buttons, and 2 decks of cards no problem. You could probably get a wait with that, or jump up to a 4800 for more space

I highly recommend the Apache cases from Harbor Freight. They come with pluck foam inserts that allow you to customize it. Or you can get custom inserts from @Sparkynutz.

This is an Apache 3800 with the custom inserts holding 1000 chips. @Sparkynutz also makes handles that go in between the racks so you can get the racks out easily.
