I read The Raiser's Edge about a year and a half ago, and I just picked it up and started rereading it. It is a book focused solely on tournament play, but it's the best publication on this subject out there in my opinion. ElkY, Lee Nelson, Tysen Streib, and Tony Dunst do an incredible job of covering everything from opponents' betting patterns to heads-up play and everything in between. I think the single most important aspect of this book is that it doesn't tell you to play a certain way. Instead it teaches you to adapt to the way your opponents play in all scenarios.
ElkY is known for absolutely crushing tournaments, so why wouldn't you read a book that he contributed to if you want to learn to play better in tournaments?
