Considering selling this set, but not sure of current value. All chips are in very good condition. Some are still chalky, though mixed in with the rest. The 25K's are still mint; chalky and sharp.

Breakdown
T25 - 260
T100 - 300
T500 - 205
T1000 - 210
T5000 - 65
T25K - 60
Total - 1100

Some pictures - The color variations you see are the chalky chip mixed in. There's no discoloration. The difference is particularly stark in the yellows.

Looking for input on value.

Cheers.

V1 or V2? 39 or 39.5 mm. Don't make a difference in price but does if someone wants to add your set to theirs and have the size match.

I sold a set like this to SleepyPiggly for around $1.10 a chip recently. But you have more 5k and 25k chips so I would add another $100 premium.

From what i remember in the original group buy, the $1k's were re-made because of the diameter of the chip. The first batch was smaller in diameter than the others. Then replacements were made. Not sure if that is why there are different shades of yellow, however.

Oh say it ain’t so! I’d gladly trade back those $25ks…

That V1 vs. V2 was a nightmare for me. Thanks to @BPTDirector who fixed that problem for me.

For what it’s worth, I’ve made a trade with @brains613 and the chips he traded me are V2, 39.5mm.

Without a precision caliper, the easiest way to tell 39mm vs. 39.5mm is to hold the BCC chip in between 2 normal 39mm Paulson chips. The BCC chip should stick out ever so slightly if they are 39.5mm.

To check consistency (if ALL of the BCC chips are 39.5mm), put them in a plastic rack. If they are different diameters, you will see height differences in the rack.

Wow, really nice chips. Especially in stacks! Great colors and spot combos. I just try to imagine how perfect this set would be without giant inlays. (excuse the blasphemy)

Personally, I love giant inlays. But I get why some people don’t like giant inlays.

BCC’s edge spots are very shallow, not like Paulson, so the giant inlay kind of works. You get the benefit of the giant center inlay without the detriment of the inlay covering up the beautiful edge spots. For example, if you look at the 8Vs on the $100s and $5000s and $5s, you see that it’s not really hidden by the giant inlay.

In addition, the colored inlays really help. There’s no mistaking chips in a pot.

On a second look I see now what you mean about the shallower edge spots. They do seem made for the giant inlay. I dont really hate giant inlays, but I prefer the smaller ones. This set really look amazing regardless though!

This is an Epic set of chips! I had a set for about 3 months before I decided to spend about 10k on a PA setup for my band so had to sell.

Also the reason the Fun Nites sold the other day sadly.

And more to Come Soon.

Anyway - I hope you get what they're worth and good luck with the sale!!

I grabbed one of each denom, and put them between two Aces chips. They were all slightly larger. So it looks like they're V2.

There aren't different shades. There are some chalky ones mixed in with the ones that were being used.

I’m not saying that yours are different, but FYI, there are indeed some weird batches of these chips. It’s not just V1 (39mm) vs. V2 (39.5mm). Between the V2s, there are some distinct differences in background color in the inlay.

@BPTDirector can attest to this. His $1000 chips had a small batch that had a different color for that club symbol in the inlay – it is gray vs. the standard red. In addition, the chip’s base color is a different shade of yellow as well.

Sleepy speaks the truth. But these are lovely no matter what may be found or said. Awesome.my vote for best Hundo ever on a home fantasy set.
