What's the going rate on Stardust Poker Mansion 5$ cash chips?

I'll give you the exact numbers when I get home. The tool is on my Macbook still

OK, so there isn't very much data available for the $5s by themselves, but if I dig into the mixed lot data, at least historically (note this is without running a regression model), the $5s and $1s were pretty much priced equally in the past. In fact, there was even a straight up swap of them a few months back. However, the 5s are now more difficult to acquire than the 1s are as evidenced by the number of transactions. When this happened to the $25s, they gradually went from $2 ea in 2014 to $10-13 ea today. The only straight $5 auctions in the database have them priced at $140 per rack, but those are both 2015 prices. The set has risen overall about 25% in value since then. If I were to price a rack of $5s today, I'd list them at $175 knowing I'd have no problem at all finding a buyer at that price, and maybe at $200 on eBay.

What's funny is that in the beginning, the $25s weren't really selling for much of a premium. Only about a dollar more than the 1s and 5s. Then, one day, they seemed to magically be selling for $10 ea lol. Gotta love this hobby...

:D

Thanks Rainman. Where are you sourcing the data from?

I love these charts. It would be a great section in resources if all the chip data was out there.

Someone should create a chip pricing app, kind of like a stock market streamer but for chips ;)

Love the info. and the charts too. But where is the section that shows chips are worth what someone is willing to pay for them? :D
