OK, so there isn't very much data available for the $5s by themselves, but if I dig into the mixed lot data, at least historically (note this is without running a regression model), the $5s and $1s were pretty much priced equally in the past. In fact, there was even a straight up swap of them a few months back. However, the 5s are now more difficult to acquire than the 1s are as evidenced by the number of transactions. When this happened to the $25s, they gradually went from $2 ea in 2014 to $10-13 ea today. The only straight $5 auctions in the database have them priced at $140 per rack, but those are both 2015 prices. The set has risen overall about 25% in value since then. If I were to price a rack of $5s today, I'd list them at $175 knowing I'd have no problem at all finding a buyer at that price, and maybe at $200 on
eBay.
