Wasn’t thing to trick anyone, i adjusted just now to China clay on title. I’m guessing most know of these and what they are if they want to buy this set. Widely known
I don't believe I said you were trying to trick anyone. Just providing information to correct the inaccuracy. Just because something is widely known doesn't mean everyone knows it. We have new people joining The Forum all the time. For sale posts especially need to be as accurate as possible.

Very true, I myself had no clue what China clays were a month ago either. Lol

Royals from Apache are 43mm. They are a great chip/set for the price!

My first set (really second after dice chips) ever owned was the Majestic Card Room chips from Apache. Those are 39mm. They feel, look, and shuffle really well. They don’t stand on edge and they are not sharp! I would describe the feel of the chip as having a slight softness and even warmth to it compared to a clay or ceramic.

People at my game like the Majestic CC chips a lot! The Royals are a step up from the Majestic CC in many people’s eyes (I agree) because the colors and patterns are more varied across the set + bigger = better (that’s what she said) ;). They feel about the same too.

These chips are some of the best gateway drugs around imo for getting into poker chip collecting. The only thing that I would say, knowing what I know now is that I would have skipped over China Clay and gone straight to higher quality chips out of the gate. Just to save a few bucks. No real regrets as I like Apache chips and my Majestics plenty.

Buy these up if you like them… you won’t regret it. :)

GLWS!

agree with pretty much everything you said here. lol only reason i'm looking to move on is i'm looking to go with a custom tina set with custom inlay. i'm hoping i don't regret it because these apache ones feel a little better than the ceramics, but i just have it set in my mind that i want a custom set. lol i wanted to match the colors on these in my custom set but wasn't able to get the exact design from apache and they don't offer them as custom at least right now, just as is. Won't be the end of the world if these don't sell because i do really like the set still. lol i just don't really need this set and another full custom set, as well as a remake of the rounders chips that i have coming too

Oh! They’ll sell I bet. Don’t worry about that.

On the custom front, good luck. I love my custom set! I also agree with everything you said. But if you are going to go with the exact same design and only change the inlay, I’m not sure that it’s worth the price/hassle/swap out. That said and like so many others, I get carried away about this stuff so do you and enjoy!

I think everyone in this forum has said this at one point and time in their chipping career. And then purchased another set the week after ….
GLWS!!
Love these 43mm chips but committed to other sets at the moment.
