Hi All,

Up for sale is a 928 chip Bahamia Casino set. The chips range in condition from casino used to very good. I'm including plenty of pictures below so you can make your own assessment of the chip condition.

Here is a breakdown of the chips:
  • $1 - 200
  • $5 - 306
    • Dolphin - 40
    • Island - 104
    • Beach - 102
    • Boy on beach - 60
  • $25 - 302
  • $100 - 120
  • Total = 928
Asking price is $1750 $1700 $1650 $1600 + shipping (domestic or international)

I am not splitting this set at the moment. However, I am considering interest. Please indicate in this thread if you would want the chips listed below at the price listed (shipping is additional).

If all chips are accounted for, I will split
  • $1s - $350/rack @AWenger x 1 (1 LEFT IF SPLIT)
  • $5s - $125/rack for good rack, $100/rack for casino used racks @AWenger (SOLD IF SPLIT)
  • $25s - $125/rack @Luvcasinochipsncekid x 1 (2 LEFT IF SPLIT)
  • $100s - $300/rack, $60 for 1 extra barrel (@Chbyfngr reserved the barrel) (1 LEFT IF SPLIT)
  • Remaining 8 chips (6 red, 2 green) - free to first one who claims (only if all chips are accounted for) @jbutler or @AWenger (fight to the death for freebies) (SOLD IF SPLIT)

Those $1s are *so* hard to find! Really amazing set. GLWS. Someone is going to be very lucky to score these!
 
Oh man. Oh man. Oh man! Too many purchases lately to come up with the funds right now. I just bought a rack of hotstamped quarters to start a Bahamia set in the future too. Would love to get my hands on some ones though.

Updated OP to include split interest. Please indicate in this thread if you would be willing to commit to the chips/prices listed if the decision is made to split (all chips must be accounted for to split). So get the racks you want and take one for the team by buying extra ones you don't to ensure a split! :sneaky:

Note that the extra barrel of $100s is the only one I plan to sell by the barrel. All others will be sold by the rack.

I would definitely take the 3 racks of $5s, and 4 to 6 spare red chips, assuming jbutler won't mind :)

I'd be willing to let someone else buy the good rack of $5s, and I'd also consider buying one rack of $1s, if all other chips are spoken for.
 
Feel like I'm in some alternate universe to see these still available.

I remember the first time I went to NYC as a kid before Giuliani cleaned it up. I'm walking down the street with my dad and we see a group of guys just wailing on someone. Really taking it to him. Then finally one of the guys pulls a knife, lets the guy have it, and grabs something from his hands before the group runs like hell. I asked my dad why the guy got attacked and he explained to me that Bahamia $1s are so rare and sought after that in some places if people see you walking around flaunting them they'll kill you for them. Ever since then I made sure to keep my Bahamia $1s in my front pocket and never taken them out in public.
 
I know it. In a few months I will be looking for $1s too. I need to sell some shit first though so the timing isn't ideal for me. I REALLY wish I could grab them right now.
 
Full disclosure. Not to rush anyone in the slightest, but I do have a $1500 offer on these from a very reputable member. Obviously, I'd prefer to get $1650, or even a full split, but that is what is on the table for now. I'll definitely leave this up for a few more days so everyone can see it.

Sorry for the impulsiveness. I likely have a sizable non-chip related expense coming up this week and would prefer to use less credit and more cash :D

I recall playing at this crappy holiday inn sunspree casino, and these chips were on the table. One of my first collected chips was one of the $5s. That was also the year i got so sunburned I was shivering and drank hot tea. Probably was going into shock, and the blisters were disgusting.

Anyways, awesome set. If it were not for 2 Vegas trips in the last 2 months and upcoming vacations, and maybe some horseshoes, I would be on this great set. GLWS!
