I have a large cash set of Royal Yak ceramics that I am likely selling to a local player.
I am looking for a fair price to both parties. This is to a poker buddy to host games where I will play. I am not looking for maximum dollar.

I have 1500+ chips
200 x .25
200 x 1
700 x 5
200 x 25
200 x 100
60 x 500

As best I recall, opening price for these was around .40/chip. I honestly don't remember how many I bought at that price and how many I may have paid more for.

Is that a reasonable start? Too high or low?

L

PS I am not looking to sell these online. Really.

.40 seems reasonable to me, maybe a bit lower if this is a buddy (but i'm several bacardi and cokes deep........)

Looks like 1,560 chips total which would be $624 at .40 per. Call it an even $600 and I think that's a very fair deal for him and a fair deal for you.

I would think chipcos have appreciated also in the market lately, along with the value of a ready-made big set. $700 still seems like a great deal for your friend.

* I'm biased, I own a set of these.

.40 seams low to me as well. So that would be fair. They would be snap called in 20 minutes if out up for sale here at .40 i think.

Also GREAT breakdown...

I have bought a lot of Yaks in the past 7 months and have paid just around .38-.40.

$600 for the set you are selling is a great deal.

The Yaks are a local favorite at my work poker nights.

Also would like to see a pic of the $60 chip! Is that a typo?
