Sidepot has brought back their Protègè ceramic plaques for anyone that's interested.

I inquired about doing a custom order of the plaques or getting approval to use their design late last year when I couldn't track down any of the 43mm $25K and $100K chips to add to my set. They were more than happy to assist. Plaques turned out great. Many thanks to @BGinGA for the assist on sizing my obnoxious plaque set. Glad they're making them available again for anyone interested.

Looks like the minimum order is 300 plaques for $1700. Might be a good option for a group buy if people don't need 300.

That was a big fat negative... They're suppose to be releasing a new chip line sometime but I haven't seen anything yet. Guessing ceramic but we'll see.

Thanks for the heads up. Inlay playing tricks on my eyes, I suppose. Still wish I could have gotten my hands on a few. Staying on the lookout but believe it will be a long time...

1K and up is very very hard to get, likewise for the exotic fracs and snappers.

Sidepot dropped the min order to 100 from 300 for more flexibility. They're also going to try and get sample sets avail for quick ship.

Been trying to get Sidepot and CPC together to see if Sidepot can make a run at a Protege encore/redux/part deux or entirely new line with clay. Maybe they'll even license the Cigar and Snifter mold to CPC for use on custom sets? 44mm Cig & Snifter customs, yes please. Wallet is trembling at the thought of that coming through.

This would be my dream but pretty sure David said the Cigar and Snifter mold is incompatible with CPC for some reason.

I've said it before that I would sell every chip I own if I could remake my Ironbound Lounge limit, cash and tournament sets with the BCC clay formula and C+S mold.

I sent the note back to Sidepot to check on the clay composition and compatibility with the C&S mold. Maybe there are adjustments that could be made on either side, should a relationship materialize between Sidepot and CPC. Going to keep hope alive on this one... I'm sure CPC is up to their eyeballs with ownership transition activities.

From what I can tell in my emails with Sidepot, and their prelim contact with CPC, they hold the rights to the design/mold.
