Do you guys mix sets of chips (same color) to play? or do you always complete a set/denom before the chips kiss the felt?

As @OfficerLovejoy mentioned, the term we use around here is “mixed set” for when each denom is from a different set.
The term “rat rod” is using completely different chips throughout each denom, but matching the base colors.
