Question about different types of poker chips (1 Viewer)

Hello,

Really new to this and I am trying to figure out the different types of casino poker chips. Paulson and Bud Jones are the ones I see posted about. though being new I mostly keep to newer posts. Do Paulson chips only have the hat and cane border? or do they make other types?

I have been collecting from my local area casinos and their are some big differences in their style and feel aside from the logo. This just got me wondering if there are other big company or brands out there? Especially with the Barona chips, they really look good but feel a bit cheaper than the hat and cane chips

Paulson can have the hat and cane, or what is a "house mold" which the Pechanga chip is showing (i.e. the mold is custom made for that casino). I think the Barona are another manufacturer called RT Plastics. The Vejas might be a Chipco. Pala looks to be Bud Jones.

The Vejas chip looks and has a similar feel like a Tiki kings chips, just a bit more smooth maybe due to being used a lot? The design is printed on the chip
