I was wondering if anyone has relabled chips that have a giant inlay before? I realize there would be some bleed over from original image under the label but just thinking about doing this.

Anyone know what size label I would need to get to do this? Thanks

If you're just labeling in the recess area - and leaving a portion of the giant inlay visible, that would function, but also not look very good IMO. Depends on the exact chips in question I guess. Most giant inlay are RHC and would take a 1" - 1-1/16" label inside the recess.

Hmm. This would be a stumper. If we're talking about Paulson, doesn't the inlay actually cover part of the hat & cane outside of the recess border? Good luck getting that out without physically wrecking the mold. I suppose a similar size giant inlay could be placed right over, but likely the bump will be obvious and I don't know how that would affect "feel" or "stackability".

Anybody tried this yet?

Chips in question are Garden City Paulson. I realize again, that part of the inlay would bleed over so the label Wouldn’t cover the entire thing.

I guess I’m just looking at this as a fun project.

Question is, is it worth it to spend ~$.20/chip on labels, for something that (IMO) wouldn't be that attractive? It's easy to mock up what it will look like, so you just have to evaluate that and make the decision for yourself. I would save the money toward another project, but YMMV.
