i just bought two racks of theses pink Paulson solid hot stamps. They are in excellent condition but there seems to be a slight difference in these and other paulsons I have. The center of the chip where the inlay usually goes seems to have no indent at all. It's almost flush with the outer rim of the entire chip. Looks similar to some ASM hit stamps I've seen before?
They feel look and sound the same as my others but for this difference.
What's up with that???

LCV mold typically has little to no recess, unlike the more common SCV.

I believe the LCV are more flush than the SCV mold chips. Either chip, if hot stamped, will have to be milled to apply a label if that is what you are using them for.
