PLEASE READ THIS ENTIRE POST CAREFULLY BEFORE BIDDING.

After the disheartening thread about CC chips and the 20+ pages of clusterf&^%, I hope we can get back to chipping, helping friends, family and good causes during this holiday season. @bivey started a thread a couple of months ago about the end of his chemotherapy, and after donating directly, I have decided to ask you to donate as well, with a twist.

The winner of this auction will donate the winning bid directly to the fundraising effort on Bert's page at: http://engage.fredhutch.org/site/TR...ages/General?team_id=11135&pg=team&fr_id=1574

Please send proof of your donation to Bert and I, and I will ship the chips immediately thereafter (buyer pays shipping cost). And yes, you get to enjoy the tax deduction as well...but fu*& tax deduction...just help a good cause!!!!!

VERY IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT CHIP CONDITION: I received these chips as a multi-rack purchase from a very 'senior', reputable and trusted member of the community. Unfortunately he didn't disclose to me that they were warped, and I didn't realize it until recently (I paid $300-$350 for this rack and my loss is the foundation's gain, so bid knowing you're actually saying FU*& to cancer.). They are in mint/very near-mint condition. Very sharp edges, but again warped. It is definitely suited for members who know how to fix these chips.

what causes chips like these to warp? I have the same chips :nailbite:

I don't know, and I am sure some experts will chime in. But I've heard heat is one cause (leaving it in your car during hot summer days in the South!...so be careful ;))

High heat will definitely endanger the flatness of your chips. I left a member's custom CPC sample set in my car inadvertently, and ended up with pancakes. It was 85 degrees out that day, but was in direct sunlight for a few hours. I wept a little on discovery.

I'm happy to flatten these for the winner and cover reshipping costs.

Thank you Lee for the generous offer. Depending on what the seller decides, I can ship the chips to you and you can send them to their final destination after flattening.

Happy Thanksgiving.

Packing your chips now. They should be on their way tomorrow. Thanks Lee and everyone else who participated. There will be more charity auctions in the next couple of weeks.
