Hello! I've come across the chance to purchase one of my GOAT sets (no, not Tigers)... but in order to grab this set, I need to drum up some funds.
Will be posting another sale or two later today or tomorrow...

Next up are four one rack of Las Vegas white THC $1s:

• 3 racks of LV Venetian THC $1s - Very Good+ condition and they received an U/S cleaning - $180 $175/rack (buy all 3 for $510 $500). (All racks are SOLD)
• One rack of OYO THC $1s - VG/Great condition - $190/rack SOLD

Notes:

• Shipping NOT included, all shipments will be made via USPS Priority mail (I will combine!)
• CONUS only
• Payment via PayPal F&F

Forgive this newb question, but can't someone just go to Vegas and buy Venetian or Oyo $1 chips for their face value of $20 a rack? So why would someone pay $190 or $175 for them? Those are not defunct casinos which means anyone can go there and buy $1 chips for $1 a piece.

A rack is 100 chips, a barrel is 20 chips
Most chips aren’t in great shape. You pay the extra ‘fee’ for getting chips in very good quality or better.

Depending on the Casino. A lot of chippers aren't geographically close to Vegas to do this regularly.

But mostly its cause of the limited supply of "Mint" chips in Casinos, specially low denominations like $1s.

Some cage will not sell you $1 chips in rack(s). So you have to buy them off of game tables or buy into a $1/$3 and harvest them, which takes time and effort.

You’ll probably also need to buy way more than 100 chips to actually get a hundred in the same/good condition.
