Let's see if I can get these into good hands through a raffle

Each ticket will be $20. Min 35 tickets / max 50 tickets for this raffle to run. You can buy more than one ticket. Free US shipping, International shipping extra. Send your entry via paypal to bmichaelhorn@gmail.com through the friends and family option. Only put your username in the title, do not reference PCF or raffle or it may flag your payment for review.

The drawing will take place based on the CA daily pick 3 numbers (like was done here: http://www.pokerchipforum.com/threads/raffle-or-sale-iron-bank-set.15150/page-3#post-268753)

http://www.calottery.com/play/draw-games/daily-3

The deadline for entries is a week from today (12/15). If the max number of entries are in and paid for before that time it will run earlier.

Can the inlay art be used for addons or is that restricted just to these chips? It's a tough set to play on for most games without addons that match.

You would share ownership of the artwork with j5 and could add on.

Based on the discussion last spring, I think it's more accurate to say that you'd have rights to use the artwork to create add-ons, but not ownership of the artwork itself.

Of course I would think J5 would still retain his artwork ownership rights, unless that has been addressed previously between bmichaelhorn & J5.

Does anyone every see a reason that if the new set owner wants to do an add-on (for personal use) that J5 would veto/deny the ability to add-on?

that seems very unlikely. i would expect that the artwork would have come with an express license that additional chips could be ordered/produced later using the same artwork, mold, and colors/spots, unchanged. there might be a theoretical limit of x,000 chips total to preclude commercial production, just to give wiggle room but have that possibility covered. but this is just speculation on my part of how i would have written the contract.

J5 and I discussed this already.

Winner would absolutely able to add on for personal with no charge if no artwork changes are made (there may be a design fee if changes are made that's up to you and j5)

Winner would also share ownership of the design with j5 which is to say that if any commercial profit came from the design it would split 50/50 between you and j5.

All, I'm going to cancel this raffle due to lack of interest. I will refund those who have already paid. Sorry it didn't work.
