3 of a Kind
Before the Black Friday sale, I asked Jim for permission to use any purchases I was able to make as raffle prizes for a fundraiser for my daughter's volleyball team. He gave me his consent, and I was lucky enough to snag a couple of items, so here we go...
My daughter plays for a rep volleyball team in a small town near Toronto, Ontario and, every year, they look for ways to raise funds to offset some of the costs involved in operating the club. Since the volleyball club is competing for dollars against the kids' schools and other fundraisers, the club doesn't usually raise a lot of funds; with the rising costs for gym usage and tournament fees, our club has had to make a few sacrifices for financial reasons. For example, due to the current US-Canadian exchange rate, our club has had to opt out of a couple US tournaments that they normally participate in.
Net proceeds go towards helping offset the club's operating costs as well as the cost of the year-end Pittsburgh tournament.
Contest rules:
- Cost: Tickets are $15 US each... enter as many times as you'd like
- Payment via Paypal ( paypal.me/MacGrad )
- A minimum of 30 tickets need to be sold for the raffle to be a go, with a maximum of 50 tickets sold.
- Shipping is included
- Winners to be chosen using the Ontario Pick 3 Daily Drawing
Prizes:
30 tickets (the minimum) need to be sold for the drawing to take place
The main prize is the WSOP Sample Set as sold by The Chip Room as part of the "Black Friday" sales:
If 35 tickets are sold, the rack of mint "Year of the Sheep" Paulsons from @legend672 's epic Halloween contest will be added:
If 40 tickets are sold, I'll add a Horseshoe Cleveland Complete Sample Set (as sold by The Chip Room as part of the "Black Friday" sales) to the draw:
Finally, if 45 people enter, one lucky winner will receive a "Raiders Volleyball" baseball cap -- be the envy of all your friends and neighbours!
- Winner will be determined using the Ontario Pick 3 daily drawing once the contest is closed (one week after the 25th ticket has been sold) and after number ranges have been assigned
- Entries will be listed sequentially in this OP, but unique blocks of numbers will be assigned randomly by a random number generator, and posted prior to the drawing. If a set of unassigned numbers is chosen in the lottery draw, the prize will rollover to the next drawing.
- Prizes will be drawn as follows:
Day 1 Afternoon Drawing: WSOP Set
Day 1 Evening Drawing: "Year of the Sheep" Paulsons (if applicable)
Day 2 Afternoon Drawing: Horseshoe Cleveland Sample Set (if applicable)
Day 2 Evening Drawing: Waterdown Raiders Team Cap (if applicable)
- Your spot is locked as soon as you send paypal payment, but until then, it's up for grabs.
Please comment in this thread with the number of entries you want.
Send payment to paypal.me/MacGrad , via friends and family -- or cover the fees. As with most PCF drawings, please put ONLY your user name in the paypal comments.
Thanks again to Jim for allowing me to use these items as raffle prizes, and a thanks to everyone who participates in this draw for your help in supporting youth volleyball.
(First time running a raffle here, so please let me know if you have any questions!)
Good luck everyone!!!
