I bought some used and unused casino cards a while ago and these were included. While I am aware of the two Rainbow Clubs, both in Henderson, Nev. and Gardena, CA, the logo on these cards doesn't match with any logo I'm familiar with.
Anyone a clue?

Overwhelming presence of Rainbow Club in Belgium ;)
You reckon it's from the same place? The style being so different and all.

Most of the Gardena card clubs used plain Kem's back in the day. I don't ever recall seeing a deck of cards with the club's name or logo.

I think narrowing down the year of the cards will help. Does the Ace of Spades have any dates or numbers on them?

Hm, now I'm torn between keeping them unopened to be able to maybe sell them and unwrapping them to figure out the mystery...

Mystery mostly solved. I opened the cellophane. The cards are probably the worst I've ever handled.
The Ace of Spades had 'Made in England' and a small deer logo. Did some searching. They turn out to be made By Astra England, who were only in the playing card business from 1982-1987.
According to the internet they did mostly advertising playing cards, but also some cards intended for casino use. They are absolute garbage though, can't imagine any casino ever being happy to use such a pile of junk.
My guess would be that the Rainbow Club would be some sad forgotten place in an English God forsaken town. Or just a novelty name.
Case closed I guess. Definitely not selling these, haha.
