Recommendations for Aussie newbie (2 Viewers)

Hello everyone! Only joined a few days ago, thanks for the warm welcomes.

I'm in the market for a cash set for my home game. I currently use a set of Port Royals (believe these are SF PolyChrom?) from Jack's Poker, who as far as I'm aware are the only local Australian chip supplier. Naturally after stumbling into this forum and lurking for a few months, I've learned much more about chips and am excited to invest in a few more sets.

Since I'm relatively young I don't plan on spending a fortune just yet (I'm sure this will change with age), but I'd be really interested to hear some recommendations! I'd probably be looking in the range of $0.50-0.65 USD per chip, or anything less than $1 AUD per chip. Any suggestions are welcome, however I'd love for some Aussie input into how I should go about acquiring chips, as shipping from overseas does seem to be the main price caveat.

I would think the SunFly chips would be good enough to use until you can save up for a clay set. The SunFly chips I have tried have been excellent in quality and playability.

Definitely would love a nice clay set in the future, seen some amazing ones on here. How much do they typically go for ballpark?

That's a loaded question. Sometimes relatively cheap, sometimes the sky's the limit.
