Red $5 CPCs (2 Viewers)

I’ve noticed that most custom CPC sets seem to favor yellow for the $5 chip, whereas traditional Vegas-style sets use red for $5. Personally, I prefer the classic Vegas colors, so I’m going with a red $5 in my set. Anyone else using red $5s in their CPC sets? I’d love to see some pics if you’ve got them!

Neither of my sets used red or yellow. Retro lavender for the sunsets and blaze for the Bourbons.

If you do use red, I recommend Retro Red. Regular red is very blah and Mandarin Red is funky.

I plan to use DG Tiger for the $5 in my upcoming set.

I think we've seen enough chips to really hammer home that the reds can be fantastic. Retro Red and regular Red both work well with the right color choices and surrounding chips. That is basically the sentiment for any CPC color though, you just need to have an actual sample set from CPC to be able to do this and not make a "wrong" choice or use colors that don't mix well.

I may or may not know a guy that just got ~400 Retro Red chips in person and said they fuck, so highly recommend.

My mandarin red surprised me, ended up my favourite chip of my set.

Not funky at all. I'm partially red colour blind so may look different to me.
