I'm trying to find the original artist for the Riverboat BCC chips. They are listed with the name Matthew Kett as the designer. Does anyone here know him?

Is that Michael at Hold'emPokerChips?
If not, I'm sure he will know as his is the only site to sell them - that's if he wants to tell you, of course...;)

Oops, sorry. I wrote it wrong. It's Matthew Kett, not Michael Kett (I fixed it in the OP now).

Michael from holdempokerchips is who I got them from, but he's not the one who designed them. He listed the designer as being Matthew Kett though. I sent Michael an email to see if he has the original artwork or Matthew Kett's contact info. Hopefully I can track down the design for these. I'm trying to make a couple of custom chips for these. One for my cash set ($20s) and one for my tourney set ($10,000s).

Matt Kett did the original design, but the chips that Rainmain has are not the originals (good thing since they are giant inlay ;)) I believe it was Johnny5 who reworked the design for the New version on the web molds, and also repurposed the Original Riverboat colors into the current Mardi Gras line. Could be wrong though. Maybe Matt did both Riverboat designs.

That was me. Both sets were my design. Michael owns the rights on all artwork, so unfortunately I can't help you there.

Welcome, Matt! I think you're due to make a return trip to the States for the upcoming Bounty Battle, no? Would love to see you and jdunford come down again.

Agreed. Bergs might even let you buy in with Canadian dollars

Wow, thanks guys. Yeah, it's been a long time indeed. I guess this is the place now? I've been out of the chip game for some time, but every once and awhile I get a notification that someone's looking for something I did and I get sucked back in. Still playing a lot of poker, so I could always be tempted to make a cross border adventure. ;)

You'd love it. We're playing a ton of different big bet games nowadays and a bit of a limit mix as well.

The latest limit mix has been: O8, Badugi, 2-7 TD, Dramaha (split 5-card omaha and 5-card draw, one draw after the flop), Big O (5-card O8), Tahoe (5-card O8 where you can play 2 or 5 hole cards), and SOHE (get 6 cards, split them into hold em and omaha hands; split pot between hold em and omaha). Not a lot of love for stud games here, but every now and then we can do a round of Pitch and Bitch Roll Your Own (get 4, discard 1, roll your own upcard).

Big bet game mix has been the same as the above, but no big bet Badugi or 2-7 yet.

So just a few games I've never heard of... I do remember the Badugi and Dramaha - if I feel like driving 8 hours I'll give you a shout! ;)
