For those of you who have never experienced a Chip Room sale, there are a few rules. We try to do things so people can acquire a complete set at good prices. The limits are to prevent people from purchasing large quantities of single denominations that prevent others from completing their sets. We also have to factor in our quantities into the calculations.

At the sale start time, the shopping cart will appear after you refresh your screen. Each chip will be listed individually and you have to load each denomination and quantity into your cart before you check out. Sometimes chips can sell out very quickly, so don't delay.

We did not clean any of the chips in the images, to give you a good representation of the chips. My impressions: $1 chips - Variety of wear, from very little to crosshatching mostly gone, very dirty, flea bites. $2.50 chips - Very good condition, square edges, slight wear of crosshatching on the edges, more flea bites than I would expect. $5 chips - Very worn, edges are rounded, almost all crosshatching gone, dirty. $25 chips - Edges just starting to round, crosshatching starting to wear slightly around the edge, very few flea bites, slightly dirty. $100 - $5000 chips - Edges are pretty sharp, almost no wear of crosshatching, slightly dirty. Some of the $1k and $5k chips have marks from cage employees running a chip across the front of the rack during counting. I showed an example in the $5k chip.

It actually has a stealthy pink spot that is hard to see. You can see it better in the cleaned chips in the sample set.

Was pretty sure I saw something there. That's what I mean! Haven't seen anything else like that.

Would be kind of cool to have a "solids" set that actually had discrete spots.

Just wondering if the limits can be adjusted slightly on the $1s and $5s to 50%. At 40% there isn't much flexibility. If you wanted say a 500 chip set you would have to get pretty much 200 $1s and 200 $5s and entire rack of $25s or some combo of 100 $25s and $100s in order to meet the limits, which is a lot of high value chips in a small cash set.

If it were 50/50 then you could have some flexibility if you got 10% other denominations and then you could decide if you wanted more or less $5s than $1s and not be overloaded in the high denoms and still meet all the requirements.

If anyone wants to fill your quota by adding some high value chips (namely the $500, but also interested in some $1k and $5k), I'm your man (added bonus, I'm also in Canada)! I am looking to put together a rack of those $500s.

How about 45%

Unless the chip counts are super low (unlikely given the prices) I bet there will be plenty of 1s and 5s after the first hour so it’s probably nothing to worry about.

Really like the snapper. Those are screaming relabeled quarters for a variety of different casino sets.

The 1s are dull and the 5s are hideous though.

If someone is ordering and not getting any 1000's or 5000's please let me add to your order!

I guess I'll just fire up the lathe and take off 4mm in diameter...
Just make sure you set it up to remove only 2mm of material.... otherwise you'll end up with a horribly-sized 35mm chip. Shop class maff was hard.

The resulting 4TSA18x18 quad-split-triple-square spot pattern might be interesting, however. :)

I am looking for $500s (as I am sure many are) if a group buy happens.

Thanks
Grant

I’d be looking for the following if a group buy happens:

$500 x 30
$1k x 50
$5k x 30

With the minimums in place, there may be a 0.01% chance of this actually happening though.

43mm is diameter, less 4mm in diameter removed = 39 mm.

Taking 4mm off each side would be a 8mm reduction in diameter.

Good point. I better remove it from the middle...
