Round table help (1 Viewer)

I wound up getting a WPT 48" round table for almost nothing. It will be a perfect starter table for me, but it needs a little tlc. Couple of questions if you will. There is no padding underneath and I would the felt is trash and needs replacing. What do you recommend for this?? SSC?? Has anyone done this to one of these tables?? The frame seems stable and fine. The rail is ok. It has a couple rips, but nothing too serious. May look into replacing the vinyl if its not too much of a pain in the ass. Better to do it altogether I suppose. I attached a pic. Not my photo, but looks exactly the same.

the issue you find with these tables is that the rail is not separate. How they are usually built is they put down the cloth and use glue and staples. then they get the rail and glue it to the surface over the cloth.

so you cant get the rail off separately to get to the cloth. its both or nothing.

you might be able to make an insert to fit over the cloth?

Oh I dont mind taking the rail off. I figured I would have to.
