Rounded vs. Square edges (1 Viewer)

I don't get why all of the premium and casino chips (Paulson and Classic Poker) have sharp square edges, yet most of the other chips on the market have rounded edges. What's going on here?
It seems like it would make more sense to just round the edges on all poker chips. Personally, I think rounded edges look nicer and feel better in the hand. But on another note, the sharp edges are just gonna chip and wear down anyway! Why? Tell me why! Lol

If you prefer rounded edges, boy are you going to save a lot of money.

Those aren’t rounded edges in the pic, those are beveled.

Look at heavily used casino clay chips to see rounded edges

You like what you like. Go with what works for you. Collectibility and value doesn’t matter if you plan to keep them and use them for the foreseeable future.
