Thanks to the folks that voted in my other thread which helped me to select chip colors for my 25c & $1 chips:
https://www.pokerchipforum.com/threads/vote-for-your-favorite-royals-chip-here.37305/

I'm now torn between which denoms to slap on these chips. BOTH color schemes across the set are great IMO, that's what makes this such a tough choice haha.

What do you guys think? Please keep in mind only 3 chips will be on the table at any one time (25c/$1/$5 or $1/$5/$25).

Please pick one and VOTE! Thanks.

Yerp, what the man who knows of what he speaks said ^^^ Progression works better as well, methinks.

But so many casinos have $1 Blues these days :)

So? This white chips is WAY better than the blue chip. I want my best chip on the table the most. And in this set, the $1 accomplishes it. If you make it your frac you have to play $.25/$.50 or $.50/$1 and if you play higher $1/$1 or up - it sits in racks getting lonely.

I 'm a huge fan of blue $1s, but in the case of this set, there 's just no room for manoeuvre.
Inevitably voted for the second option.

My typical response to white chips is “no thanks” there is an exception to every rule and this is it. Go with the beautiful White chip there.

I'd like to get at least ~50 votes for this poll before drawing any meaningful conclusions.
  • But right now, it looks like people are evenly split in their choice of the best Royal chip (26 votes for White vs 24 for Blue, so only ~8% more folks prefer the white, its pretty close)
  • However, when asked about which of these two to put in play on the table most of the time, the vote is overwhelmingly White (18 votes White to 3 votes Blue, so folks prefer white in this case by 600% WTF!?)
I'm curious as to why this is? Does the white just pop and flow better with the red $5 and green $25. Does this make such a massive difference when decising which one to choose here (because White appears to be the clear winner)?

Thanks folks!

I voted for the white $1 chip. I really like the contrast between the the white chip between the blue quarter and the red $5. Plus, if it’s gonna be your workhorse chip it’ll look amazing in stacks at the table. I’m a HUGE fan of white $1 chips.

Yeah this is looking like a white wash, pun intended.

Thanks to everyone that voted. Up to 45 votes now which is a decent sample set. Appreciate the feedback and definitely going with the white $1.
