Tough line-up but some familiar faces…good luck Krish.

Looks like some sort of subscription service. Oh well.

Oh yeah, they aggressively bought up a lot of the poker content around starting a few years ago. That is where all of the current and legacy WSOP content went. I don't subscribe but I might at some point to watch some WSOP stuff. I am surprised you haven't heard of PokerGo until now.

I mean, I've seen the logo on some players shirts and stuff but I just watch whatever is on YouTube for free. I was never curious enough to see what it actually was. I have all the seasons of High Stakes in .mkv files on my NAS and watch those often. The good old days. I did take like 10 years off or more of poker related stuff.

You can find deals every now and then, usually during big events. I got a 1 year subscription for $80. Totally worth it.

They really did gobble up a ton of content. The upside is that the void left for watching free poker allowed live streaming to thrive. So Youtube streams like HustlerLive have grown and also lots of content on Twitch for free. I don't watch a ton of poker and don't follow any specific players so old content on Youtube or new stuff like the HustlerLive streams are enough for me. Plus Youtube is easy to watch on my TVs whereas the PokerGo app would not be as easy. But I would like to watch Krish on these HSPs so I will probably sign up for a month when this drops.

Yes, I've really been enjoying the Hustler streams actually. The action is huge and the commentary is good for the most part. I really enjoy that DGAF fella, he's smart and funny. I just like his style. They do a really good job over there.

If you like DGAF you should check out his podcast called sessions. I’ve been listening to it a few years. It’s an entertaining train wreck of degeneracy and self loathing, yet somehow endearing.

I've been all over it since watching some of the Hustler streams the last couple months, but thanks for the heads up anyway :D

Triton Poker, this time in Bali, is coming up next year. Enjoyed the setting and commentary a lot (beside Daniel Negreanu).
Hustler is also great and the new Live at the Bike.
I am not a big fan of the PokerGo Studio Productions beside the Highroller Bowl with the oversized Aria Paulsons. The PokerGo Studio uses if I remember correctly at least at HSP a half seated table. I think this realy destroys the atmosphere!
HSP Season 1 to 4 had great commentary and table talk. And one more thing. They had seats with cameras which gave us viewers the perspective sitting at the table! Never seen that again. What a pity!

Love HSP. Subbing to PokerGo and re-watching the classics is what revived my interested in playing after 10 years off.
