Was down in Florida and was fortunate enough to notch a win in the $600 double bounty event - SHRPO always runs classy series and this was no exception -
had 18 bounties which was insane but ran pure and knocked out almost everyone at the final table including a dude called “ Lambo” in the left in the photo who min clicked AA against me heads up on a J 4 2 flop rainbow one heart . I floated with K3 Hearts from BB turn made heart draw, he sized up huge but back door flush and one over plus I had 2.5 x his stack we call and bink a 2 of hearts. I put him all in he snapped and saw the bad news. He did not want to ICM at the time 3 handed and lost 2k in equity but he wanted the trophy! So did I ! It was nice to come out on the right side on that hand.
Highly recommend for anyone considering a trip. Stayed in the suite and was pleased with all the amenities. Going back in Feb. Now off to Cherokee to see if we can have a repeat performance -
They use bud jones chips here and the buttery feel is always a joy to have in play -
The $3500 main event is going into day 2 today so check the leaderboards when you get a second !
