Here is where we are now on a split:
John G - 1 barrel each of 25;100;500;1,000 & NCV
BSDUMBAR1 - 1 barrel each of 25,100 & 500
HOWSEY - 1 barrel 25; 2 barrels 100; 1 barrel 500 & 1 barrel 1,000

That leaves us to account for 5 barrels 25; 6 barrels 100; 2 barrels 500 ( I can pick up the 1/2 barrel of 1,000 & 1/2 barrel of NCV - unless someone wants them)

Anyone need 25's and 100's?

It's actually a touch more than the set price. So if you wanted to buy the set from Alex and sell off what you don't need that would work too.

I would love to have picked up some 1000s. That's what I am fairly low on but let me check my supply of 25 and 100 and see what I need when I get home.

Tempted to buy the set and sell what I don't need. I need to think on it. I have over a rack of 25s and 100s but less than 200 of each so a couple barrels would work too.

Here is what we need to find participants for:

4 barrels 25; 5 barrels 100; 2 barrels 500; 1/2 barrel (10 chips ) NCV; = $575 (+2 plaques)

Thanks Howsey. I totally get what you're saying. We are offering slightly more than Alex's advertised price because he is going to have to ship to more than one person. I'm not sure he's even willing to do that. We're trying to make it where'd he come out the same with shipping and his sales price to sell and ship to 4 or 5 people rather than one - there are definite economies of scale to do one shipment.

If we and a couple of other people step up and say.....

Alex you are getting 250 from John, 125 from Mike, xxx from so and so. All together approx 1,350 would you send each of us the chips we committed to.....

Then he'd have to make a decision to do that - and you'd get a package from him directly from France instead of these things traveling back and forth over the globe

There is always the other option is that one person buys the lot at 1,200 and keeps all of it or sells it themselves. If someone does that I wanted to (and I think the other fellows) let them know they can unload 1 barrel of each to me for 2.50 a chip 5 barrels, 100 chips $250 shipped to Illinois. Of course they could tell me to piss off - I just wanted someone to know there are options available. It seems several of us want a piece but no one needs a full set.

Let's keep this thread active and see if we can't get a couple more participants or one buyer for Alex.
