I'm thinking of doing a two table shootout format tournament. Each table will play down to 2 players, then combine for a 4 person final table. My question is regarding blinds... Inevitably, one table will finish before the other.

Should I reset the blinds for the final table to the level that the first table was at when it finished, or continue at the blinds level of when the second table finishes?

I appreciate any suggestions and feedback!

Neither.

Start the final table at the lowest 'next level' for all tables (true regardless of number of tables, or if playing down to just one player at each).

Example: If first table finished during L10, then start the final table at L11.... even if second table finished during L12 (or later).
