Here it is at last. My first CPC custom set. Spent quite a while trying to figure out what I wanted my first custom set to be called. Was trying to brainstorm names for a set pretty much as soon as I joined back in 2022, but took almost a year until anything stuck. Shoreline.

Inspiration
In September of 2022, I proposed to my long time partner on a little boardwalk in Port Moody, BC named Shoreline Trail. It's one of our frequented spots in the spring and summer months as it has beautiful trails overlooking the water along with a variety of local breweries and our favourite ice creamery. Hence, the name "Shoreline Cardroom". I wanted a custom set that would carry a personal connection. I started working on a set originally going to be a relabel and reached out to @aaron2786 to work with on designing an inlay. The original concept was a more retro themed design for an overlabel set, but slowly progressed as I knew the eventual plan was for a CPC set. After sitting on the idea for a number of months, we decided to overhaul the design and go for something a bit more modernized and Aaron pretty much nailed it immediately. With the new inlay design, the colours fell into place pretty quickly and surpringly remained pretty similar to the original mockups.
I wanted a set that captured the beatiful sunsets and ocean views from the bordwalk. Bright colours. Lots of Oranges, purples, and blues.

Chips
So without more delay. The set. Shoreline Cardroom.

Special thank you to the many people on PCF and other friends who have contributed or offered advice. I'm a very indecisive person so having sounding boards throughout the process made it much easier. @aaron2786 @Pippa @Racer96 @warma @SteveEH and the many people I've forgotten.
Will post more photos eventually with a topper because morn pr0n is always good!

Glad to be a part of it

It's a great set  ! Indeed we can really picture the various colors of sunset and ocean view.
First CPC custom set :cool.
Congratulations and enjoy !!

Great looking set, congrats! They are sure to be treasured forever. Loving the nod to Cali colours

Congrats on a great set, love what you did with the color spots on the $20, very clever. When you get the chance, please post all the spot and base colors, I know many folks that are planning their own sets find information like that very useful.

The latest batches of CPC light blue have been phenomenal, the slight tweak to a richer blue vs that previous grayish tone it had look great.

So hard to pick a favorite, these all look great. I love how you tied to edge spots into the sunset gradient
