Okay, I know this depends on many factors but let's assume we are playing a 1/2 a the local casino against that player pool, do you always 3-Bet JJ out of position? if not, in what situations?

Depends on a lot of factors—stack sizes, position, players' play styles, etc. Sometimes I 3-bet it. Sometimes I flat. (Very, very, rarely, I'll consider a fold against certain opponents.)

J-J sucks as hole cards. The flop most always has over cards when I play them. It will depend upon position, and if you can go heads up after a raise before a flop.

raiiiise you nits, 4th best starting hand in poker and you call a raise from a random live player who sees 84s (his favourite hand) and raises because he came to casino not to play gto and fold, but to drink and have fun

always 3b, sometimes even 4b, all in all for a 100bb I'm willing to put in my stack with JJ unlike you rocks here who sip on your coffee and scruff at jacks about how they always lose

I believe you win more playing JJ like a high pair than like a middle pair. More raising vs flatting. Especially if you have a tighter image.

There will be a scare card for you. You just have to play through it and get a read.

What I don't recommend is a 5x or greater pre flop opening bet (if unusual for your table). That bet screams 10-10, J-J....

I tend to always 3-bet JJ out-of-position unless the initial raiser is unusually tight. (Like an OMC who's raising range may be QQ+ and AK only sort of tight. If this is the case I would just fold.)

When out-of-position with any hand I have chosen to 3-bet, I tend to size it up, at least 3-4x the total of the previous raise. (so if the raiser opens for 6, I am going to 3-bet it to at least 20, maybe 24-25 or so.) It's going to be tough to get loose calls and control the pot later in the hand, I am basically going for one loose call now and I am going to play it pretty straight forward without the advantage of acting after my opponents, hence I like going for the size now. Also, it's not a bad result with JJ to just pick it up preflop if the initial raiser won't call. JJ is the ultimate 50/50 hand. Half the flops will have one overcard or more.

I'm not huge on flatting this hand preflop unless you get an unusual set-mining preflop action. (Example, under the gun opens 3x and 4 other people flat, then I could see just flatting to hit the J and check-fold if I miss even without overcards.)

But you can't win a big pot with JJ by flatting pre. It's hard to get much interest in 9-hi or 10-hi flops, that's why I think it's important to "charge" the unpaired hands preflop when you have JJ in most cases. They might call the extra 14-18 preflop, they usually won't after missing post flop.

Haha JJ is like you are in a car racing against a lava flow and coming to a 1000 ft cliff.
Do you jump out and hope you survive the lava, do you stay in the car going over the cliff and hope you survive the crash, or do you stay in the car and hope to survive the lava flow - only to be swept over the cliff by the lava?

I usually rip the cards in half, flip over a table, and throw my empty rack at the nearest casino employee that looks most likely to be unable to defend themselves.

One day i will fold jacks pre flop just to stop the pain of playing them.

JJ is my most hated hand. i cant think of a hand that has cost me more then JJ.

There is no way to play jj well.

I fold JJ to preflop 3-bets routinely unless I really suspect both raisers are out of line. But I think that choice is obvious. I have even gotten away from QQ in this spot.

Depends on who opens and who's behind me. BTN/CO/HJ open? Slam dunk 3-bet. Players behind me or a call inbetween? Probably want to isolate with a raise instead of taking JJ multiway. Meganit from UTG who plays 5% of hands? Maybe call hoping to hit a set, or see if my JJ is an overpair to the board.

if i'm stuck i'm playing JJ aggressively and pending position. Depends on my image as well - but basically no overcards i'm playing for stack if SPR is low < 2 or 3. I find that playing aggressively pre flop for 100 bb or less works well. Heads-up i prefer aggression, multiway i'm ok playing it like no set no bet.
