Looking for one of those single chip protectors that i see a lot of people using. im sure you guys know what im talking about lol

Yup, they're called "air-tites" and technically they are coin protectors.

any specific ones that work best for chips? do you need the ones with the rings? do chips fit snugly in them?

The air-tites "direct fit" or with black or white foam ring are the most popular options. As for which one you choose, it's really just personal preference. The foam ring is nice just because it makes the entire chip a little bigger which is good if you're using it as a card protector.

As for size, standard casino chips fit well in the 39mm versions...

Which do you prefer? Direct fit or the larger size with the foam ring?

I have lots of extras of both laying around. Either is yours for the price of postage from the US.
