I’m looking for a friend in my cash game who has decided to upgrade his chips. Has taken me a year before I could convert someone from dice chips.

But it seems he’s kinda cheap. Wants to buy clay chips. 400 of them. For a .25/50 game.
His price point is 300ish.

Anyone have anything in a drawer like that?
He told me I could find the set, he would buy it, and we would all play with it.
After my place, we play at his house the second most, so obviously this is a win- win for me.
Better chips without paying.

Now to get lucky.

Best hope would be to find a set of home Paulson chips. The hot stamp monograms will not match, but the price point might be right.

The big problem is fractional chips. Finding quarters for less than a buck each is rough.

I've got asm blanks that could work but no denoms. Don't know if he'd be interested? They are about a buck new, can be found cheaper.

I've got a rack of ASM canary yellow A-molds hotstamped by Spinetti's with "25cents" on em. I got them for my SDPM set before I scored the yellow T1ks for relabeling. I might even have one spare (gotta find it though).

They are yours for $75 shipped priority CONUS (this is less than I paid for them on eBay, plus the extra cost of hotstamping them).

Let me know if you're interested...

PS: There are some super-wobblers and spinners in there - gotta squeeze the barrels to fit them in the rack. I'm guessing these are the old Evil Ott chips - but they work fine for a .25/.50 game. I used 'em plenty of times!

For a budget set, if you get $1s and $5s, you don't need denominated fracs. You can use any solid color, roulette "F", or other interesting chip.

I still like using non-denominated brilliant yellow Vegas Hard Rock roulettes as fracs -- and they can be used as either quarters or 50-centers. Even the dumbest table of cigar smoking lite-beer drinkers should be able to handle a single non-denominated chip, especially when it's the smallest in use.

Here's what I've got available, if you're interested. Hat & Cane Mixed Starter Lot x 300 for only $200 + free shipping.

EDIT! The Fun Nite (1) chips have been sold and this lot is no longer available.

I should have clarified in my post, I'd sell for less than a buck for sure. He could get 400 for around 200 of interested.

^ This is a no-brainer bargain.

Somebody buy 'em before chkmte does and the price doubles.

@bonesnjnts - I got your PM and responded. I just ask that you pay it forward if/when you decide to resell. Please don't price gouge - although I really have no say in the matter. Enjoy the quarters!

I have these...

They are a semi-custom set on the ASM Hourglass mold. They have the following breakdown:

200 x $.05
250 x $.25
100 x $1
50 x $5

These are awesome chips, used only a handful of times. They say "Sands Hotel Las Vegas" in silver Foil. $500.
