Alright I am looking for a Cash set of chips to get started with. I would really prefer to keep it on the lower end of pricing if possible. I would like to have enough chips to do a 9 handed 50-100 buyin NLH game .25/.50 stakes so I would really like for it to already have .25 denom chips in the set. Please let me know if there is anything out there reasonably priced please.

What type of chip are you looking for... Paulson's, CPC, China clays?
I would love a set of Paulson's but I don't think I am wanting to put that kind of money into a set immediatley. If they were to be reasonable I would probably jump on it.
Could you link them please. I have looked through the classifieds multiple times and can't seem to find them.

I was figuring that was the set he was referring to. By the time I got caught up at work this morning and was able to jump on here and look they had already sold. That is almost exactly what I am looking for.
I guess that is all relative but I would like to stay at a 1.00 or less. I might be willing to spend a little more if I really like the chips.

I am sure there is someone looking to sell and old set that has some pretty well used chips. I wish I still had some more GV's to sell you. I think the GV and Garden City chips can be had for $1 or under per chip. The only issue is some of those sets do not have a frac but you can always supplement the set with some old Roulettes for the fracs. Don't lose faith, many times the owners of these types of sets are on the verge of upgrading to CPC customs, Old Sought after sets or Mint Paulson sets. It happens all the time!

So your fracs (0.25 & 0.50) are going to tough to come by and when you do find them they're going to be in the ballpark of $2/per chip.

I am probably going to hold out for a cash set of casino used paulson's and then probably use roulette chips for my fracs. These look like chinese clay. If I am wrong please correct me. I have tried to change the title but I can't figure out how to do it. Thanks for your time though.

How about buying some Paulson roulette chips and having Gear make some custom labels? You'll still get the Paulson clay chip, they will be cheap, and you can pick from many color choices and make them any amount you want (y) :thumbsup:
