A few years ago I saw a stream of eBay auctions selling custom chips made for Smith & Wesson. I didn't win all of them, but I got more than my fair share. Best I can figure, Smith & Wesson had multiple sets made by various vendors and picked one of them to be included with selected firearms. Don't get excited, they didn't pick very good vendors. As you will see, I didn't get the greatest breakdowns either.

Oh, and the sellers packed poorly so I had some breakage

FIrst up - the winning chip set. Sadly these are slippery and slugged.

These chips called my name. The pictures were poor enough that I had hopes they would turn out to be something special. I wish I had won enough auctions to pull together a nice set but that didn't happen either. The second of the three types were blurry enough that I thought they might have been top end chips. But alas, it wasn't to be.
