I have built many tables, but never one for myself... over a year ago i started building a 8' w/dealer position. And i just kept putting it on the back burner.... for 18 months.... well this week i finished it... well almost, the top is done, just need to run the hex bolts, some minor touch ups. In august i made a 60" round one, but it just never tickled my fancy.
The armrest on my 8' is made out of real leather. And we got lucky and found a hide that was 8' long. you will see theres no stitching across the top. oh and theres big bertha in the back.. she my 10'. Will put the pedestals on my 8' tomorrow. Hope you guys enjoy!

Why haven't you built tables for yourself? You can obviously build nice tables... if you play poker, you need a table, and if you've built many tables, I'm confused... lol.
 
I build for customers. I play at casino, so never had the need to have one for myself. until now

I've only built around 14 thus far. It's obvious you've built way more, considering the quality of work you're displaying. How many are you up to?
 
over the years probably are 20. We have a lot of casinos here. So not really a local market for it. But any time i get a chance to build one, i jump at the opportunity. And I'm still learning to. I'm going to start making my own bases tho. step outside the box
 
You would have better luck finding bigfoot, rather then finding a home poker game out here. So there was never a need for me to have a table.

That sucks!

You live in the wrong place. Hell, bar and home games are running every night of the week around here. Our local "secret" poker Facebook group has over 1000 members.

Not enough players in OK or just no games? Maybe if you build it...?
 
Lol I've been building it. Theres just to many casinos. theres a tournament every night at all 3 major casinos here in tulsa. there are some bars that do it. but they got busted. would love to have some home games
 
Personally I thought this thread and the 'unnecessary censorship' thread was about to collide...hard.

You need to get out more. I'm just north of Tulsa and I play in 5 home games in this area.
 
I've been thinking about building a longer than 8 foot table, but have no idea how to start. My table gets a little crowded at the corners...
