All are 2-2.

1. Straddled to 5. Several callers, I call in MP with K976 with a suit. 6 handed flop, 9 7 2 two spades. I bet 25, passive, tight button calls, EP calls. Turn is a red King. 100, button calls. River is a red 5. Button has. 100 left.

2. Someone raises to 10, I call AJT9, nut hearts. Five ways we see Q T T rainbow. EP bets 40. I call, another calls. Effective stacks 700. Turn is Kh, giving me a royal draw with the other red queen, checked around. 8d on river. EP bets 70.

3. Someone raises to 10, I call in hijack with 9883ds. It is a a garbage hand, moving on. Six ways to A 5d 2 rainbow. Checked around. Turn 8d. Checked to me and I bet 50. Button calls with 400 behind. Passive old man calls in EP with 210 behind. Opener and rest fold. Black 2 on river. EP donks 60. I can tell button is folding (he had 67dd).

4. I limp AA82 nut spades. Five ways A 6s 2 rainbow. Checked to steaming button who bets 10, only I call. Js on turn. Check, button bets 30 with 200 behind.

Well I can see why you chose these.

(1) Check/fold.
(2) Call.
(3) Call.
(4) Raise to 75.

2+2 has a famous thread about some kid sitting in a drunk tank with a busted face asking what to do, but please don't discuss the night drinking or the drunken car chase or urinating in the booking room. . . .

DrStrange

hand one - fold pre, check fold flop, check fold turn, check {sigh} fold river
hand two - call
hand three - fold pre, check flop, bet turn, raise river to 210 (Hero has the 3rd nut, maybe other folks have a better villain read?)
hand four - raise pre, I can't have an opinion on the flop without knowing the position and stack depths on the other three villains, raise turn to $90.

Yeah, it's Limon's thread here. And I agree with the sentiment in a sense, but it's pretty boring to just say "fold pre" with no further comment.

fold, would have played this way different on about every street. That's not what your asking.

2. Someone raises to 10, I call AJT9, nut hearts. Five ways we see Q T T rainbow. EP bets 40. I call, another calls. Effective stacks 700. Turn is Kh, giving me a royal draw with the other red queen, checked around. 8d on river. EP bets 70.

Call, would have consider betting on the turn.

3. Someone raises to 10, I call in hijack with 9883ds. It is a a garbage hand, moving on. Six ways to A 5d 2 rainbow. Checked around. Turn 8d. Checked to me and I bet 50. Raise three quarter pot.

1) Fold pre (and it isn't close...) C/C flop. Lead for 2/3 (not full pot) on turn. As played C/F river (but expect a lot of winners when he checks behind.)

2) Fine with it, betting turn would be OK also. Call river.

3) Fold pre (gotta say it. :)) As played raise to 150.

4) Repot.

1. I play looser than most and like king-high suited little rundowns. River checked down and I lost to 777.

2. Both of us folded and we will never know if I was right. Agree betting turn has merit. Don't like calling river hoping for chop.

3. I like the Limon thread, but the drunk tank is not a magic salve. If we have t988ds or qq88, nobody is folding preflop and we are in the same spot. I set the old man in and he called with Aces full. Value owned myself, but could not see him checking a set twice, and he was in perfect spot to check shove turn.

4. I raised to 100 and he tank folded AJ face up. Hard to build a pot OOP otherwise. I disagree with raising pre, AA82 with a suit is mediocre.

1. Fold preflop.C/F flop.

2. Pot it preflop and then bet pot again on that flop. Get it in and hope you hold.

3. Call the 60 and sigh when old man shows AA.

4. Pot preflop. As played, raise to 80 on turn to set up river shove.

For #3 I'd either min raise or pot vs passive old man player. 6 handed I highly doubt he's going to check both flop and turn with AA as the board develops. I think I have the nuts here and bet accordingly. Easier to put him on A2 or other under-boat scenarios if he calls.

#2 I think you catch enough random bluffs/J9 value bets (and chops of course) to make calling 70 into 170 profitable. You're not STRICTLY calling for a chop.
