I requested closeup pics, but haven’t heard back yet. These appear to be some sort of diamond mold, but I’ve never seen spotted plastic diamonds.

The diamond mold MD-49 was produced in clay long before “super diamonds” I believe Jack Todd originally made them then Paulson acquired the mold and produced a decent amount of home market mostly solid hotstamped chips on it.
 
Zooming in on the photo appears to show different shapes for where the spot clay meets the base color clay, some Vs, inverted Vs, etc. Just going by that, these would seem to be clay.
