Spotted hot stamps from the closed Pleasure Point Casino, Santa Cruz Ca.

The blue $1.00 chips are very dirty and gunky with mostly all the hot stamps worn off. There is some bleeding into some of the spots. I hand cleaned 1 rack and used magic eraser on one barrel. They do clean up good. All stand on edge. The first pic shows top left dirty chips. The majority on right are cleaned with dawn and bottom left with eraser.

The $5.00 chips are in very good condition with stamps in tact. They are a bit dirty.

Remaining chips:
$1 x 115 - $115 plus shipping

$5 x 70 - $105 plus shipping

@pokerpig where'd you get them[/QUOTE]

I got these from some cat in Oakland. I won these from him in a pot limit game. He didn't have enough cash to cover the pot and offered them up into the pot. I got lucky. He said he got them from his buddy that use to work at that casino when they closed it down years ago. I really couldn't find much info on the place.

wow, great story, would love to play at one of your games.

WTF, sounds like modern Wild Wild West. You guys throw car keys and shit in the pot too? How does one determine on the spot how much something is worth to call a bet?

I thought table stakes was the only way cards are played anymore.

Haaaa... We were the only 2 left in the hand and the pot was sweet and he offered them up into the pot. I knew they were worth something so I agreed.

It wasn't my game. Friend of a friend caper, I was a visitor. Last I heard he doesn't play much anymore and uses "casino grade" 11.5 gram chips. He's not a chipper. I don't think I'm invited back. I really did just get lucky. I don't play too many cash games.

Nice chips. GLWS. Seeing these chips reminded me that I have a rack of some unique Paulson H&C yellow chips with the same 3 spot pattern (except all black spots), that might work well to help supplement the bank for this set -- as a fractional chip, $20 chip, or even as a $100 chip (like the Cali casinos that go straight from $5 chips to $100 chips in poker). (The yellows were previous $1 hotstamps from the Limelight Casino in CA, which the hotstamps have since worn off).

Bump for @pokerpig. I've had some separate interest in the yellow chips posted above, but if someone wants to buy them as a set along with the very cool blue & red chips in the original post above, I'll reserve the yellows until Friday 10/13.
