i like burt, and the machine is an absolute classic story, but i don't love him as a standup in general. he has awesome energy though, and i like listening to him talk, so he makes a fantastic host (or guest). he's at his best when he's just shooting the shit.

Despite his recent personal problems, John Mulaney is an excellent story teller and his delivery is just so spot on. He has many Netflix specials:

I love both of these two. Mullaney is special, because he’s something my 18 year old daughter and I can agree on.
And I’ve always loved Iliza. She can get to be too much after an hour of goat noises, but she’s definitely one of my favorite female comics.
